This 6mm square bar replaces tired, twisted or broken spindles in interior, bedroom and bathroom door handles, and is cut to length from a precision-rolled steel bar so the corners stay sharp and grip the handle hub securely. Sizes available Standard lengths — 30mm to 150mm in 5mm and 10mm steps, suitable for almost every UK door handle and lock combination. How to fit Remove the existing handles, withdraw the old spindle and measure the door thickness plus the depth of both handle hubs. Pick a spindle length that leaves about 3–5mm clearance inside each hub when the door is fully closed.
